Airfield select Advance Systems for Turnstiles
Airfield is a charitable organisation, established by the Overend family in 1974, for educational and recreational purposes. The farm, gardens, café and heritage experience in the Overend family home, offers visitors a wonderful opportunity to enjoy and learn about food, farming, gardens, growing, history and heritage in a natural and relaxed environment.
Airfield selected the Easygate SG turnstile and Advance Systems worked closely with IT consultants DNAIT & POS supplier MICROS to provide a bespoke design of Turnstile which allowed for an integrated barcode reader on the front of the unit. We worked closely with Micros to ensure that we were able to provide a solution that was aesthetically pleasing, whilst retaining complete functionality for reading tickets reliably and with ease.
A total of 3 lanes have been installed, 2 for entry, 1 for exit and all lanes are DDA compliant to facilitate wheelchairs, prams and pedestrians easily with security sensors to detect tail gating and unauthorised access. Each lane contains a traffic light built into the tinted glass top lid to indicate a valid ticket has been read. The admissions desk have a dedicated desk mounted controller which gives them full control of all lanes and the ability to release all lanes in the event of an emergency. To compliment this Airfield also have our TMON2 & passage scheduling software with gives a visual monitor of all lanes with the ability to control from the click of a mouse and also the ability to schedule the operational status of all lanes by hours and days over a 12 months period.
